Our first stop this trip was the Grand Canyon. My family and I are camping on the South Rim because the North Rim is closed. A fire last summer destroyed almost all of the lodging and buildings. It’s also closed during the winter seasons. Anyway, on our first day here, we walked out to Mather Point. My mind went KA-BOOM!! It was actually the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen some pictures, but like actually WHAT THE HECK???? I was starstruck. We walked around the South Rim Trail, which is a paved trail going along the rim. It is totally accessible for anyone who is in a wheelchair, which is one of my favorite parts. It was super pretty and fun. Check out the gallery below for pictures!
